Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Welcome to CamCalc.io ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you access our website, purchase products, or use the CamCalc calculator modification.
By using our website or products, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Website Usage Data
When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through analytics and measurement services. These include Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-focused, cookieless traffic measurement), Microsoft Clarity (session replay and heatmaps, which record on-page interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement), and the TikTok pixel and Events API (advertising and conversion measurement).
This may include: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referral source, pages visited, time spent on pages, on-page interactions, and general geographic location.
This information is used to: analyze website traffic, improve site performance, understand user behavior, detect technical problems, and measure the performance of our advertising.
To measure advertising and conversions, we may share limited, hashed (pseudonymized) information — such as a hashed email address and order value when a purchase is completed — with TikTok for ad attribution. Depending on your jurisdiction, this sharing may give you the right to opt out; contact us at support@camcalc.io to make such a request.
2. Purchases and Payment Processing
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
When you purchase a product, information necessary for order fulfillment and customer support may be stored, including: name, email address, billing information, order history, and transaction identifiers.
Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe according to their own privacy and security standards. We do not directly store full payment card information unless required for fulfillment, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
3. CamCalc Product Identification and Activity Logging
Use of the CamCalc calculator modification requires assignment of a unique identifier linked to each calculator and customer account.
The following information may be collected and stored during product use: calculator unique identifier, linked customer identifier, usage events, feature activity, diagnostic logs, security-related events, and licensing events.
These logs are used to: maintain product functionality, improve product quality, diagnose faults, enforce licensing, and detect unauthorized use, abuse, or tampering.
Use of CamCalc constitutes consent to logging necessary for product operation, licensing, security, and support.
4. Review and Disclosure of Logged Information
Stored logs may be reviewed internally to: improve product reliability, investigate product misuse, and resolve customer support issues.
Information may also be disclosed to third parties when reasonably necessary, including: payment providers, hosting providers, technical service providers, legal authorities, and fraud prevention partners.
Information may be shared if abuse, fraud, unauthorized redistribution, tampering, or other harmful activity is suspected.
5. Data Retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to: provide services, fulfill purchases, maintain licensing systems, investigate disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on product usage and transaction history.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information. However, no online system can guarantee complete security.
7. User Rights
Where applicable, users may request: access to stored personal data, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of eligible data.
Certain information may be retained when required for licensing, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
8. Third-Party Services
Third-party services used by this site and product may have their own privacy policies, including: Cloudflare (analytics and content delivery), Microsoft Clarity (session replay and heatmaps), TikTok (advertising and conversion measurement), and Stripe (payment processing).
Users are encouraged to review those policies separately.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time without prior notice. Updates become effective when posted on this page.
